Informatica Cloud (IDMC/IICS) Consultant - upto £675 a day negotiable (inside IR35) - Remote in the UK

6 months+ contract position, to join the team in a large government programme.
Fully remote from anywhere in the UK with limited on-site flexible working.
Rate: upto £675 a day negotiable, based on skills/experience, inside IR35

The Role:
An Informatica Cloud Consultant is required on this Enterprise Data Programme, where the client has assessed and reviewed their current on-premise data architecture framework and wants to design a new cloud based target state that is suited to their future needs for enterprise data management.The new design will incorporate the Informatica IDMC/IICS suite of tools.

Understand the Functional and Technical Requirements
Understand the Solution Architecture and the Design
Assist with the design of the migration approach from on-premise to cloud
Deliver a POC of the new architecture
Perform unit testing and system integration testing of solution components
Fix defects arising out of testing

Skills and Experience Required:
Experience working with Informatica IDMC esp. Data Integration/ ETL tooling
Experience with the admin side - set up, configuration of IDMC (IICS)
Worked on migration of on-premise data platforms to Cloud
Experience working in the AWS cloud environment
Experience in design of ETL mappings (best practices) with Informatica suite; (Informatica BDM / PowerCenter knowledge helpful)
Knowledge of Axon/EDC and DQ is an added advantage - integration of IICS/ETL with EDC/Axon
Good analytical skills
Public Sector experience would be a bonus but not essential
The ability to communicate exceptionally via videoconferencing is essential, to deliver meetings, presentations and reviews.

Due to the sensitive nature of the client environment, SC Clearance may be required. Applicants will need to be located in the UK and have the ability to be SC security cleared if necessary or have current transferable clearance already.
