Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and attachments for efficient production.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and & cycle times are maintained.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments & gauges to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (6S principles).
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in the use of measuring equipment.
- Previous experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment.
- Fanuc experience essential.
- Ability to edit/modify & create CNC Programs.
- Driven tooling experience advantageous.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

**Salary**: £14.45-£17.41 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
