**Casual Examination Invigilator**

**£9.50 per hour**

The new Ormiston Chadwick Academy opened in Widnes in September 2014 serving the community of West Widnes. Our Academy is large enough to offer an outstanding curriculum but small enough to have a strong community ethos in which all students are known and nurtured to achieve their potential.

**We are seeking to appoint Casual Exam Invigilators.**

Are you looking for flexible, adhoc work to fit around other commitments? Do you have a passion for education and an eye for detail? If the answer is YES then a role as Secondary School Exam Invigilator might be worth considering

The exams begin after February half term and finish towards the end of June, the work is flexible. No formal qualifications are required for this role but a keen eye for detail would be an advantage. This role would particularly suit recent graduates.

Invigilators are responsible for instructing the students on the requirements, answering any queries and maintaining a quiet environment for all participants.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with setting-up examination venues with all the appropriate resources
- Invigilate during exams assisting with any queries which may occur
- Have outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Adhere to safeguarding procedures
