Electricians Mate/labourer

Wessex Electricals are a family run company based in North Dorset, with over 57 years’ experience in the Electrical and Property Care industry. Due to continual growth, we are looking for an Electrician’s Mate/Labourer to undertake electrical works in domestic housing and commercial premises in the Wiltshire and North Dorset area.

These works may include but are not exclusive to:

- Assisting qualified Electricians
- Pulling/Clipping cables
- Chasing walls
- Installing cable containment
- Collecting materials
- Tidying of job site
- Hanging heaters to the wall

**Basic Competencies**:

- Experience working with Electricians but not essential
- Experience working in occupied and unoccupied properties
- Experience working in the housing sector
- A knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations
- An understanding of the principles of good customer care
- The ability to take basic instructions

**Essential Competencies**:

- No essential competencies but experience in the electrical sector would be beneficial.

**Desirable Competencies**:

- Any basic electrical training would be advantageous.
