Telehandler Machine Operator

Sorting, loading and unloading waste skips as necessary, working with delivery vehicles both tipping and removing waste, loading of a conveyor belt for waste sorting.
- Operating 360
- General yard tidying and skip moving will also be required, among other duties.
- Loading screeners/crushers. General Maintenance.
- Clean and maintain static plant (inc but not limited to basic checks, greasing, air filters, radiators, and basic health and safety checks).
- Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by Manager (including but not limited to general yard maintenance, washing vehicles, covering picking line duties).

**Person Specification**:

- Suitably certified for specific machinery.
- Effective and confident communication skills.
- Experience in working within Waste and recycling sector is desirable.
- Excellent relevant Health and Safety legislation and Shorts procedure knowledge.
- Safe working attitude (wearing PPE at all times).
- Be able to operate in a compliant manner in a challenging environment.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Be approachable and professional.
- The ability to reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes.
- Willing to learn and take on new duties.
- Demonstrate understanding and works to exceed expectations.
