**Key Responsibilities**
- Provision of general end-to-end German payroll processing knowledge.
- Validation of the current and future state end-to-end payroll process documentation to ensure that no critical components have been omitted.
- Assurance of legal compliance + validation that the payroll providers have adopted best practice methods to fulfil statutory obligations.
- Contribution towards the completion/provision/validation of different payroll artefacts for the payroll system build and SOP definition e.g., wage matrix, compensation matrix, absence calculations, payroll calendar, etc.
- Contribution towards efforts to secure General Works Council approvals for the project.
- Facilitation of meaningful conversations amongst different internal and external stakeholders to guarantee fully informed decisions can be made.

**Essential**
- Proficient English and German speaker
- Has experience as a Payroll SME in German based payroll migration projects
- Significant Payroll Management experience in a large complex global organisation
- Detailed operational knowledge of payroll
- Experience with payroll and HCM Platforms

**Desirable**
- Experience of supporting German Works Council negotiations
- Experience of using Workday, SAP
- Has knowledge and experience of German taxation and social security rules and regulations.
