The Punchbowl Lapworth, situated in Solihull is looking for reliable Cocktail bartenders to join their talented front of house team. Since refurbishing in September 2017 the owners have created a modern and forward thinking gastro pub with rooms that is not only considered to be one of the best places to eat in the midlands but has also got the reputation as one of the best places to work as well. This is not just because they pay good salaries and the team usually get great tips but is mostly because the owners have worked themselves in hospitality for many years As they have been employees themselves they value their employees in the same way that they value their customers and realise how important BOTH are to the success of the business.

To ensure that all guests are provided with drinks and food when requested and offered these when appropriate in an effort to maximise sales. To ensure the Restaurant service is at a quality at all times whilst preserving a level of guest privacy. To complete all cleaning and preparation to ensure a smooth service at all times. **Must have experience in high quality establishment**

**Responsibilities**

To serve within the Restaurant Department and as such your typical duties will be as follows:

- To prepare and carry out food and beverage service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. This includes offering table service to guests, regularly checking the floor, this includes all lounges, the gardens and the spa.
- To keep back of house, restaurants, lounge areas and gardens tidy at all times and to regularly clean all associated equipment.
- To ensure that all food & beverage items served at a quality and recorded in an appropriate manner in order that guests may be charged, and to operate a cash bar as and when required.
- To read all relevant company literature, notices and other correspondence and to regularly observe hotel and departmental notice-boards.
- To carry out any other reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the business.

The role comprises of a flexible week with a mixture of straights and splits and gives a full two days off at least each week.

Due to the location it is preferable if you drive although The Punchbowl say as long as you can get to work and back then it's your decision how you travel.
