CALLING ALL SENIOR WAITERS

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Waiter and embark on a thrilling culinary journey that will leave your taste buds tingling and your career soaring Are you ready to step up and take charge in the fast-paced world of fine dining, where precision meets passion? RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for seeing that all the duties for the preparation of service are efficiently carried out and complete.
- Responsible for opening and closing duties as instructed.
- Assist in training staff.
- Provide management with a feedback on a staff performance and customer satisfaction.
- Communicates to management all possible issues, feedback, Ideas.

PRIOR TO SERVICE
- Report for duty on time and prepared for your shift
- Adhere to agreed break times
- Ensure that all stations are equipped
- Ensure that all tables are laid in accordance with standard.
- Make sure the handover is thorough

DURING SERVICE
- Take instruction and directions from a manager or a supervisor
- Provide attentive, personal, prompt and efficient service.
- Take and process orders, serve and clear food, troubleshoot where necessary.
- Respond to any menu/drinks/allergy queries with knowledgeable answers.
- Follow the steps of service
- Work with a Junior Waiter as a team, give clear instructions
- Understand customers to be prioritised - VIP’s unhappy customers, regulars etc.
- React promptly and refer any issues, complaints, breakages, spillages to a Manager
- Communicate any unresolved issues to a Manager

AFTER SERVICE
- Break down tables and stations
- Give instructions to a Junior Waiter you work with
- Ensure everything is left clean and tidy
- Report any outstanding service issues to a Manager

KNOWLEDGE
- Have a sound understanding of the restaurant layout, its facilities and a basic understanding of services
- To know opening and closing times
- To know all senior level staff and their roles
- To understand the essence and ethos of the company
- To have a full working knowledge of all table numbers and their positions
- To have an excellent knowledge and understanding of menus, wine and drink lists
- To have a full understanding of all items of equipment, their uses, and where they are kept
- To have a thorough working knowledge of the EPOS system
- To pay due regard to the company’s Health and Safety Policy and to ensure standards are met throughout the business.
