**Introduction**:
Boeing Defence United Kingdom is currently hiring a **Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner** in the UK, in **Bristol** area. This role will be a hybrid worker and offer a mix of in-office and telecommuting work.

BGS Government Financial Planning & Analysis is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the Europe, Israel and (Non-U.S.) Americas (including UK & Ireland). As a Regional FP&A Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to the FP&A Manager and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The analyst will also provide guidance, leadership and quality financial analysis to the individual Business Units and Programs in the portfolio.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Deliver strong business partnering to REGIONAL Programme stakeholders, facilitating the collation of Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash Forecast inputs in addition to Headcount and Opex forecasting
- Deliver Monthly Reporting of variance explanations against forecast to Key Programme stakeholders and REGIONAL Finance functional leadership
- Lead the Strategic and Operating Plan cycle for assigned Programme business areas, acting as the conduit between Strategy, Business Development, Programme and Finance to ensure a robust plan is implemented that attains the concurrence of the various stakeholders involved
- Providing Support to REGIONAL Finance improvement initiatives including the development of financial tools, systems & processes and driving consistency / standardization across the wider REGIONAL Finance team, ensuring compliance to Boeing standards and requirements
- Completion of Financial analysis to support key recommendations/decisions around focus projects and key initiatives across the assigned Business areas

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working within an operations-facing finance team, acting as a Business Partner to key Operational Managers & Executives
- Skilled team member/contributor
- Business (Financial) Acumen
- Strong Written and Oral Communication skills
- Experience of driving and delivering Business Results
- Focus on Customer satisfaction
- IT proficient (particularly Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ideally qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or studying towards one of these professional qualifications
- Background in Accounting, Economics or Qualified accountant
- Experience of working in a long-term contract accounting environment
- Detailed working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and management techniques
