**Natural England - Admin Officer**
**Location**: Hybrid working (main office is in York, however offices available in York, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester and London)
**Hours**: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 5:00 (37 hours)

**Pay**: £10.98Ph

This is a temporary position until March 2023 with maybe the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

**Role Overview**:
You will provide administrative support. You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

- Collating and analysing complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
- Preparing routine correspondence

**Skills and experience required**:

- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
- proficient in the use of spreadsheets and happy to interrogate various database types
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Good attention to detail
- Stakeholder experience
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to work to deadline
- Able to work well in a team as well as working independently
