Illingworth Mechanical Ltd is a family run business based in North East Derbyshire with over 25 years of experience specialising in the design and installation of pipework systems. We are experts in on-site installation services, working closely and safely with our customers.

We offer both on and off-site fabrication and installation of pipework systems. We pride ourselves on the quality, safety and timely completion of our projects. Our engineers hold appropriate training for both equipment and safety including CCNSG, IPAF 3a/3b and Rough Terrain Telescopic FLT J3. We are well versed with installing new systems, modifying existing installations and managing the process throughout. The sectors we serve include injection moulding, blow moulding, plastics extrusion and general industry.

**Job description**

Due to an increased number of projects we’re looking for a Pipe Fitter to join and expand our family run business specialising in on-site pipework installation across the UK.

We have been offering a one stop service for mechanical installation within the plastics and recycling industries for 30 years. The job role includes installation of pneumatic conveying pipework, process water pipework, ancillary equipment and general fabrication.

The applicant will be required to work on projects across the UK and thus must be comfortable with working away during the week where necessary with all travel and expenses covered.
- Substantial pipe fitting experience with flanged, screwed and coupling systems
- High level of experience in mechanical installation of equipment and machinery
- Strong experience in designing, building and installing Unistrut bracketry, fabricated frames and cable containment
- IPAF MEWP 3a and 3b license preferable and competent with working at height
- TIG and MIG Welding experience desirable
- Positive work ethic and good customer communication skills
- Pride yourself in delivering a high standard of work
- Full UK driving license
- CSCS or ECITB CCNSG safety passport desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.50-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

**Experience**:

- Pipefitting: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS card or equivalent (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
