Quayside Opticians is a family run business located within a busy retail park based in Connah’s Quay, Flintshire. We aim to provide exceptional eyecare services to our patients in our newly designed store which is equipped with the most innovative technology in the industry.

We are looking to recruit an Optical Assistant to join our new team with the following requirements/skills:

- Optical experience is preferable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good organisational/time management skills
- Versatile in approach to customers of all ages and backgrounds
- Pro-active around the workplace
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Days to cover: Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.

Duties Include:

- Diary management
- Welcome patients on arrival
- Performing preliminary tests on patients when requested by clinicians
- Dispensing glasses and contact lenses
- Recommend frames and lenses that meet lifestyle requirements
- Keeping up-to-date with our new products and offers
- Dealing with patient enquiries in store and over the telephone
- Focus on meeting customer expectations and using problem solving strategies when dealing with unsatisfied patients
- General administration and housekeeping tasks

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour
