**Pay Rate: £12.02 per hour PAYE**
**This opening assignment is for 3 mouths **The purpose of the role is to provide individual and as part of a team an excellent customer focussed Access and Customer Care Service that includes provision of a consistently high quality service for answering/resolving: enquiries, requests for services, complaints and compliments.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a reception service at the company headquarters.
- Making outbound calls that promote the company’s services, conducting service surveys and updating records.
- Provide an efficient/effective responsive Elected Member enquiry service.
- Where necessary, put the customer in contact with appropriate colleagues or departments, ensuring required information is transferred efficiently.
- Maintain accurate computerised information systems by inputting, updating analysis and extracting data. Regularly update and monitor customer information held on the system
- Proactively identify service improvements making recommendations to improve overall customer service and/or working practice and provide information.
- Act as a customer service role model for all colleagues, assisting with training and ongoing coaching and development.
- Support Managers as required by undertaking project work to develop the Service.
- Maintain a range of administrative and recording systems within the team.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Successful experience of working in a housing customer facing environment.
- Experience of writing reports and presenting findings including the monitoring of performance.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Analytical skills and forward thinking approach.
- Able to work outside normal working hours.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
