**Position Information**

Title: Workshop Assistant
Reporting: Justin Furner
Location: Haverhill

**Position Purpose**

To assist the Fabrication Workshop in ensuring that the area is clean and tidy at all times whilst adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

**Main Outcomes of the Position**

Ensure products are safely positioned in the relevant areas ready for welding / fabricating operations. Cleans and tidies all areas inside and outside the Fabrication Workshop.

**Expectations**
- Comply with the company's Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Move materials by forklift as necessary
- Loads and unloads material and tools from deliveries ensuring relevant paperwork is checked and submitted
- Loading items onto pallets ready to be dispatched
- Any other duties assigned by the Fabrication Manager

**Foundation / Position Requirements**
- A good all-round general education
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Adherence to health and safety policies
- Conscientious workmanship
- Right to work in the UK
- Understanding numerical and mathematical calculations and data (Desirable)
