**Head of Procurement - Construction and Building Materials - Rapidly Growing Family Business - £70k - £80k + Car & Bonus - Canterbury (Hybrid)**

With revenues of over £250m and consistent year on year growth, this family-owned building materials organisation is seeking a new Head of Procurement to join the organisation in a business critical position.

Reporting into the Financial Director and managing a team of 2 buyers, this role will work to develop and implement strategic procurement practice across a high achieving team.

**As a Head of Procurement, you will**:

- Develop and implement strategic procurement policy across indirect materials categories, including but not limited to: Energy, Utilities, fuels, PPE Fleet & Capital Equipment
- Working closely with c-suite stakeholders and cross-functional business groups to provide procurement leadership and build effective relationships
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate and ensure effective delivery of objectives
- Demonstrate innovative thinking to effectively communication the direct and vision of the procurement team to the wider group

**Desired Skillset**:

- Degree and MCIPS qualified
- Strong procurement background ideally within categories such as utilities, capital equipment & engineering
- Related industry experience across manufacturing or construction ideal
- Excellent experience across contracts management
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
