For this EYFS Leader role, you will be an innovative, experienced EYFS teacher ready for a more senior role, or a current EYFS Leader who is keen to develop your leadership talents and ready for a new challenge.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a passion for teaching and is reflective in their own practice
- Has their own clear vision for early years and is ambitious to achieve this
- Can create an innovative, imaginative EYFS curriculum based upon active learning
- Is confident to create a child-centred curriculum and learning environment
- Is passionate about children’s mental health and wellbeing
- Has at least 4 years’ teaching experience (at least three years’ experience teaching in EYFS)
- Aims to ensure that each individual child’s developmental needs are met, and overcome any barriers to learning
- Is committed to developing positive relationships with our children, and their families to provide the best support for them
- Has high expectations of themselves and the children they teach
- Has fantastic resilience with a real ‘can-do attitude’
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
- Is flexible and has a good sense of humour

- A large EYFS provision consisting of 3 reception classes and a 52 FTE Nursery (15 hours)

Winston Way is a three-form entry primary school in Ilford, East London. The school caters for children from Nursery to Year 6 (3-11 year olds) with 660 children currently on roll. Winston Way Academy is part of United Learning, a large multi-academy trust across England, who believe that everyone can strive for excellence.
