As part of this new role you’ll lead on the delivery of our homeless reduction plan to improve social justice and reduce homelessness across our geography. You’ll work with colleagues, local authorities and partners to help reduce the pressures on those at risk of homelessness. Reviewing our approach to safeguarding and working closely with our Neighbourhood & Community teams to ensure we are delivering best practice when providing responses to those in crisis. Ensuring services are delivered to a consistently high standard.

The person we are looking for will be able to influence and connect with others through a period of change and improvement. They will be a visible and inspirational leader to multi locational teams, developing new and varied external partnerships, with those who share our aims.

They will be able to inspire and lead teams who provide specialist support and guidance in homelessness, safeguarding and community investment. All the while seeking out new ideas, initiatives and ways of working that could help our customers and communities achieve more. The job requires working closely with senior leaders and teams internally to develop and deliver our approach in community investment. Making recommendations for improvement in seeking out consistent excellence in response to homelessness and safeguarding. This is an exciting time to join Bromford, with some exciting challenges ahead as we launch our new strategy.

**This role is permanent and full time. **You’ll be based from our Tewkesbury office (GL20 8ND) with regular travel to our other sites required. Regular home working is available.**

**You will be someone who has**:

- Extensive background working in the homelessness field as well as knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act
- Experience of overseeing teams delivering services to groups of vulnerable clients, safeguarding or teams providing specialist services
- A good understanding of legal, regulatory and other compliance frameworks
- Good understanding of community investment and social value would be advantageous
- In depth understanding of customer and housing practice across sectors
- Experience of producing concise, clear and engaging reports for a range of stakeholder groups.
- Be a clear communicator, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
- Ability to switch between a high-level strategic view of the business and the operational detail
- Be able to drive and have a full UK driving licence
- Able to demonstrate a track record of effective operational leadership and management across dispersed locations
