**S. Clarke +Son Funeral Directors** are an independent 4th generation family business that has been supporting bereaved families in Ards and North Down for over a century.

We are looking for a caring and empathetic person to join our team to serve families in our local community during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.

We currently have a position for a part-time Funeral Arranger working a _minimum of 26 hours per week._ Our operational branches are located in Newtownards and Bangor. There will be a requirement to cover holidays, training, and sickness absence and therefore the need for flexibility is essential. The post will include working alternating Saturdays.

As a member of our close-knit team, you'll contribute significantly to delivering an exceptional experience for our client families. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating and planning funeral services and meeting the needs and wishes of the families we serve.

A summary of your responsibilities would include:

- Serving as the first point of contact and the welcoming face of S. Clarke +Son
- Coordinating funeral services according to the families' wishes
- Efficiently answering and managing phone calls, taking, and forwarding accurate messages
- Accompanying families to our Chapel of Rest
- Handling daily banking transactions and maintaining branch financial records
- Undertaking general office administration tasks
- Keeping our Funeral Home pristine and welcoming at all times

Your ongoing professional development will be of high importance to us. As such, we will support you in gaining vital knowledge and skills in-house and also through external specialist training programmes.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 26 per week

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Office Adminstration: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)
