Our Client

I am working with a key client who are a heavy materials handling & capital equipment engineering and installation company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for a Site Team Leader / Supervisor, on key customer sites UK wide. This is a great opportunity to grow a career on to site management etc, with a highly reputable organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
v Responsible for running work packages and prioritising workloads

v Ensure that the Site Engineers are working to required safety procedures

v Managing all works to make sure required standards are adhered

v Strong technical understanding on a heavy mechanical, fabrication, steel erecting and installation project site

v Ensuring you have all resources that are required to fulfil requirement

v Managing teams from 2-6 Site Engineers on site

v Report any snagging issues or problems to Senior management

v Ability to work professionally on site at clients’ premises, being a key representation

v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality

v Experience in heavy engineering / capital equipment industry

v Proven track record of setting up jobs, dealing with issues on site, and achieving objectives

v NVQ L3 Engineering ideally (fitting/fabrication/steel erection etc)

v SSSTS card

v Ability to travel UK wide to sites - all expenses paid (travel, accommodation etc)

v Working a contracted 38 hr standard week, with Overtime paid, as sites are open 10-12hours.
