We are recruiting for a Cleaning Team Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious client site in Westminster.
You will maintain a high standard of cleaning to all office areas and manage the team effectively.
This position provides a unique opportunity to be one of the key players at the centre of a dedicated and established team of staff providing crucial support services for this key client.
**Main duties and responsibilities**
To ensure the carrying out of general cleaning tasks as detailed on the cleaning schedule & compose cleaning schedules for client.
To ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety, and personal hygiene.
General Tasks may include.
- Emptying, cleaning waste bins/recycling areas
- Attending to ad hoc duties as directed by the site Supervisor
- Communal area cleaning
- Lift and Stair cleaning
- Cleaning of meeting rooms
- Cleaning of tea points
- Cleaning of washrooms
- Vacuum soft surface spot cleaning
- Damp cleaning of trained surfaces
- High
- and low-level cleaning
- Fixtures and fittings throughout including but not limited to, radiators, handles, kitchen fittings, kitchen equipment, sanitary fitments, desks, tables, chairs, fire extinguishers, door frames, tiles, walls, blinds, wall pictures.
- Cleaning after every use of cleaning equipment
- Daily reporting of any equipment breakdowns.
- To follow work plan.
- Direct tasks as OCS Supervisor
- To ensure all record keeping is accurate & conduct spot checks on these.

You will be responsible for your team of operatives who will be carrying out the above tasks and will conduct yourself. You will need to lead by example and lead the way on day to day tasks as well as new initiatives alongside the Building Manager.
**To succeed in this role you will need**
Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary.
Line management experience is desirable
To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
