My client, a utility supply management company at the forefront of the renewable's movement are looking for a Principal Software Engineer Embedded C++; the company work to provide the high-tech smart meter solutions of the future for customers based throughoutthe UK.

Due to technological advancement, and green solutions - the market is moving towards smart and intelligent grids which has made my client go through a rapid growth period. In this role you will be working in an Agile development environment and also usingCI/CD and DevOps process.

The electronics technology is a mix of analog/digital electronics, ARM core NXP micro, power electronics and RF/IoT - meter reading and electricity management but also the acquisition of data into the Cloud.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal Software Engineer Embedded C++ to be based at their facilities in Peterborough. They will be required to work with the Principal Software to develop low level and middleware code for real time embeddedsystems.

To be a successful applicant for this Principal Software Engineer Embedded C++ job, you must have:

- Experience in software development for embedded systems using C++.
- Experience in developing device drivers for embedded systems
- An understanding of hardware requirements around embedded systems
- Experience of leading 2 or more engineers.
