**Buyer - Contract Opportunity Potential of a long term contract - Immediate Start - Onsite Parking**

A world-class supplier of quality fuels is looking to engage with an experienced Procurement Buyer to work on a contract basis located at the client’s facility in Humberside.
The position has the potential to extend to a longer term opportunity and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities for the role include;
- Preparation and issue of tender documentation for equipment & materials via Ariba system.
- Participate in bid evaluation by providing commercial support to project team during negotiations and detailed bid evaluations.
- Ensure that expediting, inspection, and troubleshooting visits to manufacturers are carried out in a timely manner.
- Conduct Supplier negotiations, ensure all Commercial, Operational, and Legal matters are concluded prior to contract award.
- Process Purchase requisitions to obtain goods and or services at the most advantageous terms for the Company.
- Ensure that detailed purchasing status is recorded in the Engagement plan for the project team to facilitate corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures is adhered to.

Do you have the following skills and experience?
- A working knowledge and understanding of contract operation, management and commercial contract terms and terminology.
- 5+ Years’ experience as a Procurement professional within a commercial role in an Industrial / Process environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Ariba also advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal, expert negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills.
- A team worker, with a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to manage time effectively to achieve targets and objectives within deadlines.
- Self-starter and comfortable with communications at all levels in the organisation.
