**Line Leader**

We are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our busy biscuit packing department.

The role includes;
- Effectively control & monitor the daily operation of Packing Lines and follow agreed Operating Procedures and work instructions
- Utilise labour correctly ensuring the correct number of employees are working on the line - redeploy any additional people to other lines
- Meet quality standards documented on QAS
- Keep employees motivated and ensure that production targets are met
- Liaise with Section Leaders to ensure sufficient packaging is available to meet daily production requirements
- Complete all checks (Quality, weights, PPE etc.) required on Line Inspection Sheet while making sure they are factually correct
- Monitor & keep waste to a minimum
- Efficient product changeover and line clearance
- Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are followed
- Ensure that food safety rules are always followed
- Company rules are followed
- Management of employees including managing performance, issuing files notes & ROCs
- Ensure all employees are treated fairly & consistently with dignity & respect & be aware of different cultures while embracing diversity
- Actively promote a positive food safety culture within the department and the factory as a whole
- Ensure cleaning, hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained and are audit ready
- Organise effective staffing for breaks

To be considered for this role you must have previous supervisory experience as a large part of the role is to manage staff.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:15

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
