Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established M&E Services Company, in their search for an **Mechanical Estimator** to work from their **Nottingham** office, covering projects UK wide.

**What our client is offering for the successful Mechanical Estimator**:

- Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable depending upon experience)
- Company laptop
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays

- Hybrid Opportunity; must reside travelling distance from the NG office

**The Role - Mechanical Estimator**:

- Create estimates/tenders from mechanical services design drawings (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
- Involvement in the production of detailed tender bids
- Dealing with current prospective clients
- To identify and report on risk and opportunity/scope
- To obtain a suitable number of competitive quotations and compare on a
like for like basis
- To work collaboratively as a key member of the bid team
- Involvement in the day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards
are maintained and deadlines are met
- Produce accurate net estimates with full breakdowns for adjudication

**What we are looking for in an Mechanical Estimator**:

- Previous experience working in an estimators role
- Previous experience working in the building services/ M&E Contracting/ HVAC sector
- HNC or equivalent in a building services related field
- Working knowledge of labour, plant, materials and equipment rates.
- Full Drivers licence
- Experience in reading & understanding schematics and completing detailed take-offs.
