Credit Control Supervisor overseeing a team of 5 experienced Credit Controllers for a 6-12 month contract.

Are you an experienced Credit Control professional seeking an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team? We are currently partnering with a market leader in Borehamwood, known for their exceptional service and innovative approach. We are looking for a talented Credit Control Supervisor to join their team on a 6-12 month contract, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

As the Credit Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 skilled Credit Controllers. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth operation of the credit control function, optimizing cash flow and minimizing outstanding debts. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong client relationships, working closely with key stakeholders to resolve any payment issues and implement effective credit control strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of 5 Credit Controllers, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize their performance and productivity.
- Implement credit control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resolving payment issues, and negotiating repayment plans when necessary.
- Monitor and analyze debtor reports, taking proactive measures to minimize overdue payments and reduce bad debt exposure.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as Sales and Finance, to resolve invoice discrepancies and improve overall credit control processes.
- Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior management, highlighting credit control performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in credit control regulations, recommending and implementing relevant improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a Credit Control role, preferably within a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficient in using credit control software and MS Office suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
