We are recruiting a**Project Manager**at one of our client sites near **Durness in the North of Scotland**. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team working on a range of different and interesting projects managing them from inception to completion.

This is a full-time permanent employed position working onsite at our client’s site.

For all of these projects, planning permission for the larger parts of the construction work will be required, so our client requires a**Project Manager** with experience working with planning departments and obtaining planning permission withlocal councils as well as an ability to work with the likes of Scottish Natural Heritage and other similar local bodies.

Use of**AutoCAD** is essential, as you will be responsible for working with our client and drafting plans for submission to the relevant officials.

You will be based onsite as you will have to work with the local construction teams, overseeing the plans being carried out, so a hands-on approach and good team working skills are also required.

This residential project is the creation of a new large, upscale residence for our client's use, so experience in similar types of undertaking is required.

This is a list of some of the ongoing requirements:

- Local installation onsite of portacabins

Planning for the installation of the portacabins

Connection of services for the portacabins (in the first stage of the project)
- A new sewage treatment plant

Installation of services for onsite employees (all of the above plus WC/Shower facilities)

Landscaping and design work onsite
- Installation of new temporary kitchen facilities (portacabin based initially)
- GateHouse planning, planning permission, installation and creation including new gates and an access road
- Creation of new additional onsite parking
- Staff Accommodation creation (multiple new houses)
- Construction and planning of new Facilities Management centre onsite
- Phase 3 connection for onsite mains power
- Backup power (generators)
- Construction and planning of the new Operations Management Centre
- Overseeing essential works and ongoing preventative maintenance on original house structures (circa 120 years old)

These are just some of the current and ongoing projects, as this is part of a long-term plan on behalf of our clients.

This is a greenfield site where you will be responsible for working with multiple government agencies, so any experience in doing this would be of additional benefit.

**Key to this role is bringing all of this together in a cohesive strategy and putting a proper project plan, connecting all of these disparate parts together into a whole.**

**On offer is a very competitive salary, at £60-£80,000 pa, depending on your skills and experience.**
