Paramedic

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical care to patients
- You must have your own public liability and Insurance
- Assess patient conditions and administer appropriate medical treatments
- Perform physical examinations and gather patient medical history
- Administer medications, including injections, following proper protocols
- Utilize basic life support techniques to stabilize patients
- Monitor vital signs and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities using appropriate equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

- Valid Paramedic certification/license
- Experience working in a hospital or critical care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in administering injections and medications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient transfers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment

Contract length: 3 days

Pay: £15.61-£25.00 per hour
