Trainee Accountant

TGFP Limited have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Accountant. Have you just completed your degree and are looking to get into the accounting profession? Then look no further The position of Trainee Accountant is an exciting role for any aspiring finance professional.

A fully funded study package will be provided that will allow you to study with ICAEW or ACCA. You will learn a range of new skills and develop your problem-solving ability whilst working alongside a great team.

Some of the duties of the Trainee Accountant will include:

- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies
- Preparation of corporation tax returns, partnerships and personal tax returns
- Use of IT systems and a range of accounting software packages including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Carrying out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations
- Assistance with the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts

Entry requirements: 2:2 or above at degree level along with five GCSE’s at Grade C (4) or above including Maths and English.

Experience: None required (just an enthusiasm to learn)
