As Lead Respiratory Clinical Physiologist, you will be one of two Clinical Physiologists working in a dynamic and growing Respiratory Department at Salisbury. You will lead and quality assure your colleague in the pair and provide strategic direction for the Pulmonary Function service, as well as conduct routine and advanced investigations into lung function that are available in the department and interpret them as necessary. You will lead Lung Function reporting for the most complex patients, supporting the decision-making of your B6 colleague. You will be the first point of contact for Physiology services in Respiratory. You will provide specialist advice to other health care professionals at all grades and disciplines. You will oversee a significant portion of the Respiratory department budget and authorise payments, managing stock control.

You will be required to perform and analyse both basic and multi-channel sleep studies. You will also be required to initiate and monitor CPAP therapy. You will also be able to contribute to the Oxygen service. You will be responsible for supervision of students and the delivery of training to other members of staff within the multi-disciplinary team.
