Cedar's Change & Transformation Practice has exclusively partnered with a global telecommunications business to support a strategic digital transformation programme, recruiting for multiple Solution Architects in the project team

Solution Architect

Location: 1 to be based in Caribbean or surrounding region. 2 further Solution Architects based Globally/remotely

Duration: 12 months

Rate: c$1200 - 1500 per day

The role:
As part of the digital transformation programme team, you will own the overall solution architecture to ensure business outcomes are met.

In this role you will be responsible for functional domains across multiple service lines, associated governance, and to drive the first principals of standardisation and simplification.

Key Objectives:

- Vendor management and engagement to validate and expand the proposed solution architecture end to end
- Lead the design and decision making progress within functional domains
- Own the strategy and delivery of standardising processes, integration, product and data models
- Support customer and product migration from legacy

Accountabilities:

- At each stage of the transformation programme you will be creating and delivering architecture in collaboration with vendors and the wider group technology functions
- With the assigned functional domains, you will be managing the processes and integration assets
- Own the governance applied solution design, interface specification and changes across the entire life cycle
- Propose solutions for encountered issues during design, build and test phases
- Operate across all components within the BSS and OSS

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline
- Certified TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
- Significant and proven experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture or Engineering
- Experience operating in cloud technology covering IaaS/PaaS and SaaS
- Knowledge of Azure desirable
