**What is a Community Resource Centre (CRC)?**

Bath and North East Somerset have three care homes which are Community Resource Centres located in Bath and Midsomer Norton. Each Community Resource Centre includes a residential care home for between 30 and 45 people, and these homes provide important services to older people in our community. We provide care and health services in a comfortable, safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities, including dementia.

**Combe Lea**

Combe Lea is a residential care home that provides care and health services in a safe environment for older vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities. It offers a broad range of activities which aim to promote independence by developing or maintaining and enhancing peoples skills, interests and abilities.

Within the CRC Support role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team of carers and support teams. Our Care Support workers at these centres work hard to offer residents the opportunity to retain as much independence as possible and to enjoy their live.

Combe Lea is situated in Midsomer Norton, Somerset and is based over 3 floors. Combe Lea is a purpose built 30 bedded residential care home. We support older adults living with varying degrees of frailty and a diagnosis of Dementia in a homely environment.

**About You**

We are looking to recruit a dedicated, experienced Senior Support Worker to join our fabulous team at Combe Lea.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working in a supervisory position supporting the Registered Manager with maintaining exceptional high levels of care and support to the residents. You will be responsible for managing shifts over a 4-week rolling rota which includes alternative weekends and Bank Holidays. This is a fixed term contract of 16.5 hours per.

Your duties will include dealing with the night management of Combe Lea, supervision of staff, rota cover, undertaking audits and staff development.

You will be required to have a good knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, following policy and procedure in a proactive manner.
