Brokers are expected to build lasting relationships and ensure they are providing an incredible service to their clients by processing quotes and confirming bookings in a structured and efficient way.
You represent SHY in a highly professional and competent manner exercising reasonable commercial judgment and managing your client’s expectations throughout all your communications.
This role will involve a proactive approach to networking and participation at specific aviation and networking events.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Develop new business through proactive sales and marketing efforts
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and potential new clients
- Negotiate contracts with airlines, operators, and service providers on behalf of clients
- Provide clients with pricing and flight options, making recommendations as needed
- Coordinate flight arrangements and oversee flight operations to ensure a smooth experience for clients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation brokerage or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven track record of success in developing and maintaining client relationships
- Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing effectively
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aviation software
- Experience of using CRM (preferably Zoho CRM)
- Experience using Avinode and Air Charter Guide
- Resilience with the ability to bounce back after setbacks
- Able to take a commercial outlook on all flights to ensure a win-win for SHY Aviation and the client
