We have an exciting opportunity for a Travel Specialist to join our growing Finance team. As the internal expert on travel bookings and costs, in this role you will act as the main point of contact between our external travel provider and the business whilst holding responsibility for monitoring bookings, reporting on spend and usage & managing stakeholders across the business on all things travel.

This is a permanent role based out of our Bristol office, but working to a hybrid arrangement with some home working too.

**What you'll do**

The successful applicant will be responsible for travel service delivery and the coordination of day to day operations, including:

- Ensuring the smooth running of all booking processes including communications and process updates
- Coordinating air miles & loyalty points and maintaining the approvals process
- Managing the relationship between Osborne Clarke and our external travel provider, ensuring compliance with agreed service level agreements and leading quarterly service delivery meetings
- Engaging & consulting with Travel Reps and PA's to understand and resolve operational issues and act on ongoing feedback
- Tracking bookings which fall outside of the travel policy
- Responsibility for analysing, compiling and presenting travel data and carbon reporting
- Assisting with business insurance requirements from a travel perspective

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience of booking travel on behalf of others, including knowledge of booking procedures and pricing
- An understanding of travel booking tools i.e. Online Booking Tools or Global Distribution Systems
- Excellent organisational ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to actively engage with and influence a range a stakeholders
- Willing to learn new systems and processes
- Good commercial awareness
- Proven track record in data analysis/reporting
- Good Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of responsibility and ownership with a focus on getting the job done
- Problem solver who can bring an analytical approach to resolving challenges
- Willing to travel between London, Bristol and Reading offices to ensure appropriate visibility around the business as the recognised OC travel expert
