Duties:

- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move and organise stock within the warehouse
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to specifications according to demand. Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss
- assist in the manual loading and unloading when required for the accepting of large deliveries around peak time
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock checks
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods. Perform ad hoc tasks required by the operations director/warehouse manager required for the smooth functioning and growth of the company.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
- Capability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail for quality control checks
