This role will be focused on credit control with our retail and wholesale customers.
Refresco UK are part of the Refresco Group a multi-national independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites across Europe, North America, and Australia in 15 countries. In the UK we have 6 sites. We work with all the large UK supermarkets plus many well-known branded drinks producers.
**Credit Controller - Head office, Kegworth**
**Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, Fridays 8:30am - 4pm**
**Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home)**

**Duties of a Credit Controller at Refresco**
- To investigate customer debit notes.
- Raise credit notes when valid or dispute with the customer if they are invalid.
- Chase payment of invalid deductions.
- Liaise with the account mangers to discuss problem accounts.
- Obtain copies of deductions from customers.
- Chase payment of customer invoices if deducted and are invalid.
- Keep account managers up to date with deducted customer invoices and advise them when they have reached aged debt
- Generate non
- automatic sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Mail out sales invoices (Non
- EDI) daily
- Post cash receipts, credit notes or journal adjustments promptly to ensure the accuracy of the Sales Ledger.
- Obtain special prices when necessary from account managers in order that invoices may be generated.
- Note that this task is primarily undertaken by the Credit Control Manager.
- Collect Direct Debit payments monthly, as required by Credit Control Manager
- Daily - review Despatches not invoiced report and resolve accordingly.
- Complete a detailed monthly report to the credit control manager listing aged debt and the action taken to resolve it
- Statement printing
- Raise invoices from PODs
- Deal with new account opening procedure as required
- Help maintain and update the manual customer filing system.
- Any other task as may be deemed necessary from time to time by management.
**About you**
- Previous experience of dealing with credit control and or sales ledger
- You will need to have 6+ month within finance admin
- Good attention to detail
- Personable and approachable - you will need to support customer with queries
