Head Butcher

Our Caversham butcher family is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate to lead our team.

As our lead butcher, you will ideally have 2 years of butchery experience. You will strive to deliver an outstanding level of customer service, sharing your knowledge for food with our customers.

The responsibilities of this position include:

- Overseeing the department’s operations
- Cutting, grinding & preparing meat products for retail sale
- Ensuring food safety
- Overseeing product preparation
- Dealing with suppliers and vendors
- Excellent customer service skills

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Reading: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Butchering: 2 years (preferred)
- Butchers & Meat Cutters: 2 years (preferred)
