Impact Recruitment are looking to speak with Quality Engineers/Quality Inspectors with a background in precision engineering. Our client is a manufacturing company based in Northampton who supply CNC machined parts, primarily to the Formula 1 industries.

Due to continued growth and the onboarding of new clients the company have seen an increase in demand for high tolerance inspection to satisfy customer requirements. As a result they have invested in a new CMM machine and are looking for a Quality Engineerto lead this department.

**Salary**:£32,000 - £40,000

**Hours**:7:45am - 4:15pm (Early Finish Friday)

**Location**:Northampton

**Responsibilities**:

- The use of both CMM & 3D scanners
- The use of Polyworks Inspection software
- Checking components to engineering drawing
- Feeding back information to Machine shop cell leaders
- Communicating & reporting to customers

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working in a precision engineering company
- A good understanding of engineering drawings & tolerancing
- Good Attention to detail
- Good Organisational skills
- Knowledge of CNC operating and setting
- Confidence liaising with customer Quality Departments
- Prior experience working with 3D scanners & CMM machines would be advantageous
