We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to become a Full-Time Foster Carer to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. As a Full-Time Foster Carer, you will be responsible for the daily care and supervision of children who have been placed in your care. You will be expected to provide emotional support, stability, and guidance to help these children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing a safe, secure and stable home environment for children in your care
- Building positive relationships with children, helping them to develop self-esteem, confidence and a sense of belonging
- Advocating for the needs of children in your care and working with other professionals to ensure their needs are met
- Ensuring children receive appropriate medical care and education, as well as support for any emotional or behavioral issues
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children’s progress, behaviors and achievements
- Attending meetings, training sessions and other events as required to ensure your skills and knowledge are up-to-date
- Working collaboratively with other Foster Carers and social workers to ensure the best outcomes for children in your care.

Qualifications and Experience:

- A high level of emotional resilience, patience and empathy
- Ability to provide a safe and stable environment for children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including with social workers and other professionals
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential
- A clean background check and references

Training: Full training will be provided to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care for children in your care.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £400.00-£800.00 per week
