**Job Title**: Forge Operator
**Location**: Lincoln
**Salary**: £26k - £28,200k
**Shifts**:Monday - Friday 8-hour shifts (Day shift & Backshift)

**Profile**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Adherence to all safety and quality processes and procedures.- Ensuring that high standards of health, safety and housekeeping are consistently met.- To input new programmes and modify existing programmes on computer controls.- To organise die and tool storage and heating of dies in readiness for production.- To undertake fettling, painting of billets and shotblasting duties- To carry out repairs to dies and tools during production.- To ensure customer specifications are achieved e.g., check dimensions against process sheets or sketches.- To undertake forge inspection.- To brand and record part and serial numbers or other required numbers.- To carry out the cleaning of the pits and painting work areas as required.- To assist with the successful introduction of new/modified parts.
