**As Warehouse Junior you will be starting your career in the industry and will be keen to learn and develop in the company. You will be working under the direction of the warehouse supervisor to ensure that that the daily operational tasks of the warehouse are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards. Undertaking regular housekeeping to keep the working environment, clean, safe, and well stocked.**

**Your core responsibilities will include**:

- Work alongside a team of staff both full time and freelance assigned to the warehouse space each day.
- Prepping equipment for jobs, making sure all stock is correctly assigned to jobs on the hire system before leaving the warehouse.
- De-prep returning jobs ensuring equipment is ready for next use and losses/damages are correctly logged and reported.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded/unloaded correctly in line with the daily work schedule.
- Ensure stock levels are correct by assisting with regular stock takes and equipment inspections.
- Assist the repair department with preventative maintenance and in service inspection and testing.
- General warehouse housekeeping, including cleaning, refreshing consumable stocks, basic maintenance.
- Follow all operational and legislative procedures already in place and ensure that other staff work to the same standards.
- Process goods in/out ensuring deliveries/collections are logged and reported.

A flexible work ethic is required due to the nature of the industry. you will be scheduled to work 40 hours across the week with some mandatory evening and weekend shifts during busy periods. overtime will also be available.

This role will be based solely at our West Norwood Warehouse with a minimum 40 hour week.

**Salary**: £11.95 per hour
