Accounts and Payroll Assistant

Norwich, United Kingdom DC Developments Full time

Assisting in the processing of accounting operations, payroll and general office duties.

**Main tasks of job**:

- Purchase Ledger
- Assistance with Management Accounts
- Payroll once monthly
- Processing purchase invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in twice monthly (BACS) payments and dealing with all payment requests
- Statement Reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Posting Nominal Ledger Journals
- Provide general support to other admin and accounting functions as required

**Skills needed**:

- Good IT skills is essential.
- Good telephone skills.
- Past experience of Xero is preferred but not essential
- Being able to work within a team.
- Punctual, polite and willing to learn

**Working hours and holidays**:

- Working hours to be negotiated. Ideally either 5 hours per day over 3 days or 2 day of 7.5 hours
- Holiday pay(excluding bank holidays) is paid at 1.25x basic.
- Holiday to be calculated upon agreed working hours.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
