Cheese Deli Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Cheese Deli Associate to join our team. As a Cheese Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assist them in selecting deli products
- Keep the Veg and bread area stocked
- Ensure food is fresh, properly labeled, and stored at appropriate temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers and knives
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of deli products
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Upsell additional products or specials to customers

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a deli is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
