Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Bruton, who are actively seeking to engage a temporary **Teaching Assistant** to join the team.

**What you will be doing**:
You will be required to provide support to the teacher and support in the following areas:

- Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
- Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher
- Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
- Helping Teachers manage student behaviour.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Have an interest in how children learn and behave.
- Provide appropriate role models of behaviour both in the classroom and around school
- DBS would be desirable, although one will be undertaken

**What you will receive in return**:

- Monday to Friday 08.45AM to 15.45PM
