Truro, United Kingdom The Roseland Surgeries Full time

The Roseland Surgeries is a three site dispensing practice on the Roseland Peninsula. We require a part-time medical receptionist to work between 18 and 20 hours per week over 4 days. This is a permanent position with good rates of pay and access to the NHS Pension Scheme if desired. The successful applicant will be computer literate, with an excellent telephone manner, and be able to work on his/her own as well as part of a team. You need to be able to juggle tasks, have an eye for detail and have great communication skills, both with patients and your colleagues. This position will include a mix of working at our Portscatho (TR2 5EE), Tregony (TR2 5RT) and St Mawes (TR2 5AL) sites. The surgery is open from 07.30 am to 6.30 pm and so shifts will often include an early start and a late finish each week (but never on the same day) Experience is helpful but not essential as full training is given.

Public transport is poor on the Roseland and so access to transport is essential. Applicants are respectfully requested to check the postcode of the main site on Google Maps (or similar) before applying. Although the surgery postal address is Truro, we are some 40 minutes from the centre itself.
