Our well established Client based in Portbury are looking for a Transport Clerk to join their team.

Due to the shift times and location, you will need to have your own means of transport as trains and buses will not get you to the location.

The hours of work are rotating weekly

**1 week will be 04:45am - 12.45pm**

**2 week will be 12:00pm - 20:00pm**

You will have to work occasional Saturdays (morning) but will be given a day off in the week.

**Day to Duties**:

- De-brief all vehicles on their return maintaining stock integrity, checking for vehicle damage and cleanliness.
- Responsible for checking all equipment used by crews daily
- Maintain a positive relationship with all delivery crews
- Maintain accurate records
- You will adopt a diplomatic approach to problem resolution and will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Successfully meet the targets driven by transport supervisor
- Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statuary regulations and obligations
- Be able to challenge drivers and have a conversation with them

**Transport experience is desirable due to the nature of work.**

**Pay rate £14.87 per hour paid weekly**
