Classroom Support are excited to be working with a mainstream Primary School in the Worthing area.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 1 & 2 pupils in a mainstream Primary School.

The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment of which is reflected in their Ofsted results.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £85 - £90 per day, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only for this Teaching Assistant position.

**Requirements of the Teaching Assistant role are**:

- Support the children mainly in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.
- Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting or childcare setting
- Holding a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial
- Be willing to participate in lunch-time cover.
- Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.

**Please Note: You Either need a DBS on the Update Service or a DBS ran via ourselves for us to be able to place you at a school.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £85.00-£90.00 per day
