Are you looking for an experience within the role that will shape the future of a vital workforce within the Trust?

This is a new post to provide our newly recruited Nursing Assistants with additional pastoral support and training so that are prepared for their role, have a positive experience of settling into their new clinical environment, feel welcomed, and supported, engaged with their team and our Trust vision and values.

These individuals play an essential role providing people with some of the most personal and fundamental support and are a significant part of the workforce in the services we provider. It is crucial they are valued, supported and trained to do their important job well.

The post holder will assist in the delivery of the HCSW induction and clinical training programme for our HCSW new starters; making new starters feel welcomed and being a source of contact and support during their first year in the Trust, including offering regular pastoral support meetings.

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.

We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
