Handy Person

**Handy person/Maintenance position**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment as necessary and within capability
- Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc., when necessary
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, caravans and systems (e.g. ventilation in caravan results in mould)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm, CO monitor)
- Carry out gutter and drainpipe clearing, maintenance and repair as required
- Undertake maintenance of gardening machinery and tools
- Ensure that chemicals (insecticides) paints, proprietary cleaners and varnishes are used and stored only in accordance with manufactures instructions and guidelines
- Welding, grinding tasks as necessary
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations as necessary
- Occasionally perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
- Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you
- Report to manager for issues

Other Duties:

- Van or Tractor driving according to skills
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required by the management

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
