Position Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant with SEND experience, you will play a vital role in assisting and supporting students who require additional help and personalized attention. You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff and collaborate with external specialists to create a truly inclusive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Adapt and modify teaching materials to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere, promoting self-esteem and confidence among students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists to develop personalized learning plans.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviours by implementing effective strategies and techniques.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to further develop your skills and knowledge in the field of SEND education.
- Contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive school environment where all students feel valued and respected.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with students with SEND is essential.
- A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine passion for supporting the academic and emotional development of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability, as each day may present new challenges and opportunities.
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are desirable but not essential.
