Yard man (loading shovel, FLT, Class 1 HGV)

Varied role to support site operations and fleet maintenance.

Ideal role for someone who enjoys operating machinery, practical and has an interest in mechanics.

Role
- Collect and deliver units and trailer.
- Take vehicles through there MOT (on site authorised testing facility)
- Load vehicles with FLT
- Carry out roller brake tests.
- Operate 21ton front end loading shovel.
- Wash vehicles
- General site upkeep
- Support Mechanics

Typical working hours - Monday - Fri (07:30 - 05:30). Saturdays are available if interested.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Penrith: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Loading shovel or telehandler: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- HGV class1 (CE) driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Category CE Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
